Re-Shuffels

BUSSTOP 1

Rock-A-Live 2025

Group BUSSTOP was invited to perform at the RAL-Festival in the "SFS Multi Hall" i Sønderborg.
It was a fantastic evening with 4 bands, a delicious buffet and 500 happy guests for an 7-hour non-stop dance party.

Bo Bach Jensen was on point with his camera, so here are a few of his "shots" from the evening.

NEW MAN ON THE BASS

After an amazingly good start of the year at SFS Hallen in Sønderborg in January 2025, it was time for Group BUSSTOP to take a break from gigs.

The new bass player Per Eskildsen Møller should be offered a chance to join the band the right way from the start.

And Per, the brave Southern Jutland man - originally from Felsted between Aabenraa and Sønderborg - knew quite a lot of the melodies from his previous with "The Remembers", the band he still enjoys around Stilling near Skanderborg.

Per quickly fell into the jargon in the rehearsal-room and already on April 4, 2025, he stood on stage in Esbjerg with the rest of the Busstoppers for a double 60s party together with The Rocking Ghosts.

Esbjerg 60's Party 2025

Group BUSTOP + The Rocking Ghosts

Søren Højberg from SHB Booking has revived his legendary 60s parties from Esbjerg, and now with 2 Danish bands with roots all the way back to... precisely: the happy 60s.

At "Esbjerg Park" the big music and dance evening was planned, where 350 tickets were put up for sale, and they were completely sold out!!!

The Busstoppers were ready to debut with new bassist Per Eskildsen Møller, and when the notes of the first song, Cliff Richard's "Do You Wanna Dance", filled the dance hall, it took about 15 seconds before the all-too-small dance floor was packed.

A new chapter was written in the history of Group BUSSTOP, when the band was invited to play at Lion's City Party for the first time.
Lovely atmosphere in the tent, where the audience were dining before the concert and later could have a "swing-around" to some good 60s music...

Our loyal followers Niels "The Soundman" and Steen "The Phographer" were on hand as usual, and they both did an amazing job.

Holiday replacement

Finn Davidsen substitutes for Per on the bass

In connection with Per's holiday trip to the North Cape, we managed to get retired Bus Stopper Finn Davidsen to help with a few jobs in June.

The planned concert in Tandslet was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather and postponed to Saturday, August 30, but Rømø Music Festival was a success, with one of the videos being viewed over 6,000 times on the first day...

Although the weather forecasts in the week leading up to the "Summer Rock Festival 2025" in Ringsted promised dry weather, it turned out to become a very wet evening and unfortunately too late to move the event indoors.

The audience did not disappoint, however, and stayed on the lawn in front of St. Bendts Church from start to finish to enjoy the concerts with Group BUSSTOP and Cosiness.

The busstoppers "humbly bow in the dust" for the many people present...

Here are some of Steen Jakobsen's beautiful photos of
Group BUSSTOP at the SommerRock concert in Ringsted, and below 3 video of Alex Christensen from the same concert.

The Busstopperne are currently in the process of bringing in a new bassist, as Per has chosen to stop being in the band, and our retired Finn Davidsen, who can be seen in the 3 videos above from Ringsted and the 2 films from the Rømø Music Festival, is happy to step in, but only as a replacement!

So thanks to you Finn... Update will follow as soon as Group BUSSTOP has been on the road again.
