Get to know Group BUSSTOP

As the name (insp. of Hollie's hit) indicates, the musical repertoire is of course drawn from the happy 60s and 70s.

With roots deeply rooted in the time "When the Beatles came to Sønderborg" (Gunnar Korff Rasmussen 1986) all musicians in the band have the completely natural background to still be able to stand on stage today (over half a century later) and authentically perform the same fantastic melodies as back then.

Haimons, Group LSD and Def Cisum, who all drove the country thin at the barbed wire balls every weekend in the 60s and 70s, have supplied the musicians for the new Group BUSSTOP.

On Board:
From Haimons comes Jan Christiansen (guitar & vocals), Group LSD contributes Frank Hansen (vocals) and Ole Skau (drums).

Jan Christiansen is bitten by a "crazy Hank Marvin" and loves to fire the Shadows hits by...

After all, Frank started his musical career as lead singer in the 60s groupTeen Makers, which at the time were just called "The Danish Hollies".

Totte (keyboard, guitar & vocals) had a foot in three of the camps, and most recently, the band has expanded with Preben Hovedskou, who handles the percussion side in a classy manner as well as Bent Rothe, who has joined on bass & vocal.

Both of these musicians could be found in boatsDef Cisum and Group LSD.

The last expansion with Bent on the song in particular means that the music now reaches the stage the band wanted right from the start, and the complex harmonies in the music from that time are now "the icing on the cake" in Group BUSSTOP's selected repertoire with hits upon hits from the charts of the time.

A trip "Down Memory Lane" is what awaits you when you go to the Barbed Wire Ball with Group BUSSTOP.

On the sound side, it is Søren Jensen who controls the buttons.
Søren has previously produced sound for e.g. both Group LSD and Haimons.
